I was thrilled to learn the other day that one of my new favorite bands, The Ting Tings are coming back for a U.S. club tour and hitting up my favorite vomitlicious hot spot, the Paradise Rock Club. If you haven’t checked out their debut album. We Started Nothing, I highly recommend that you do! It’s packed full of solid jams. From “Shut Up & Let Me Go” (made popular by the Apple commercial), to “That’s Not My Name,” “Fruit Machine,” “Be The One,” and “Great DJ” (top 10 Billboard dance smash) – it’s a fun musical romp!
The Ting Tings have also been remixed time and time again for the clubs. Prestigious names like Calvin Harris (“Great DJ”), 7th Heaven (“Great DJ”), Bimbo Jones (“Be The One,” “Fruit Machine”), Dave Spoon (“Fruit Machine”), Soul Seekerz (“Great DJ,” “That’s Not My Name” ), Japanese Popstars (“Be The One”), Chris Lake (“Shut Up & Let Me Go”), Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel (“Shut Up & Let Me Go”), Johnny Vicious (“Shut Up & Let Me Go”), Tocadisco (“Shut Up & Let Me Go”), LA Riots (That’s Not My Name) & Tom Neville (“That’s Not My Name”) have all put their signature touches onto various Ting Tings classics. Can’t wait for this show! – Photos / Album Artwork Via The Ting Tings’ Official Website
