I think it’s time for some PROMISING POP from a new sister trio called AMOR KISMET. I’ll admit, I’ve been sitting on this one for a while now (FEBRUARY!) but if nothing else, it’s a testament to how solid of a track I think it is. Listen to a song called “RADAR” below.

There’s no denying it, 90s music (POP|R&B|HOUSE – you name it!) is making a BIG comeback. While I think it’s been stealthily creeping back for a some time now, it wasn’t until Kiesza emerged on the scene that I really started to notice it. I was hooked on “RADAR” with the first listen and after giving it a go, I think you’ll see why. It’s an ABSOLUTE BOP! The song’s beat is catchy AF and complements the girls’ haunting vocals perfectly and that LA-LA-LA-filled chorus? BIG Thumbs up.
The Atlanta-based AMOR KISMET consists Erika, Crystal and LJ – three sisters who have been honing their craft from an early age. Not content with just being singers, the girls’ are well versed in a variety of instruments, including acoustic guitar and congas. While the trio prides itself on having a unique sound, AMOR KISMET is inspired by a diverse array of gone-but-not-forgotten talents including Selena, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Aaliyah.
“RADAR” features on AMOR KISMET‘s debut release, The Love EP, which features 4 tracks co-written by the girls alongside Michael Dean and produced by Bill Zimmerman. Check ’em out!
