Sorry for the major delay in posting of late. I’ve had a lot going on over the past couple of weeks. My mother passed away on Thursday December 17th after a 5 year battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease. While we all knew that ALS is incurable, this end was not something any of us liked thinking about, nor did knowing make the reality any easier to digest.
I consider myself so very fortunate to have so many supportive and loving family and friends. This whole experience would have been considerably more unbearable without them. I also owe a lot to the healing power of music. Music has a way of making you feel infinitely and immediately better.
While the tears haven’t finished falling, I thank God for all of the happy memories that will undoubtedly keep me going. Rest in Peace Mom. I will love you for always and forever.
Is blowing in your face
And the whole world
Is on your case
I could offer you
A warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows
And the stars appear
And there is no one there
To dry your tears
I could hold you
For a million years
To make you feel my love
