ICYMI, this past Friday, perennial Music Is My King Size Bed favorites, XY&O premiered their latest single, “Fahrenheit” over on Idolator. Lead singer Skip Curtis‘ relaxed, carefree vocal style complements the tropical house vibes perfectly, while occasional electronic flourishes and vocal effects mist over the song’s warm, dreamy synths like a gentle ocean spray. While “Fahrenheit” doesn’t stray too far off the beachy trail left by the Welsh trio’s previous two releases “Low Tide” and “Lights On,” that’s not a criticism. As we move closer to winter, a lot of people will do anything to try and hold on to some semblance of summer. Listen to “Fahrenheit” below.
