Producer/DJ and remixer extraordinaire XYconstant released a MASSIVE tune late yesterday, featuring one of my favorite UK-based synthpop singer/songwriters. Featuring the warm, sun-kissed vocals of the MASSIVELY talented Tom Aspaul, “Do It Well” is the perfect end-of-summer bop. This tropical, synth-laden beach-pop stunner is overflowing with the sort of booty-bouncing beats you’d want playing as you close out summer beach party season by the shore. Listen to “Do It Well” and just TRY not to shake it.

XYconstant is a UK (Falmouth)-based producer and DJ that I know predominantly for his off-the-hook remixes for a diverse array of artists, including LOLO, Ellie Goulding and Lana Del Rey. Last year he unveiled his official debut single, “Silverlined” which included a remix package with mixes from Ferdinand Weber, CID, The Golden Boy and Delta Heavy. Excited to see who remixes “Do It Well,” although for the time being I’ll have no problem getting down to the original version.
“Do It Well” is available now (iTunes) via Parlophone/FFRR.
