American Idol: Season 8 winner Kris Allen released the remix EP for his latest single, “The Vision of Love” this past Tuesday. The six-track EP features hot mixes from English producer/remixer Michael Woods (Estelle, Kylie Minogue), Maison & Dragen (Nadia Ali, Martin Solveig), Religion, and Project 46 (Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)“). The EP features two additional mixes, one from the winner and one from the runner up of Allen’s remix contest, which launched on March 28th via his official website.
22 year-old New Jersey-native DJ Reidiculous took the grand prize, winning $2,000, a pair of Beats By Dre headphones, a CD and signed photo, while the 17-year old aspiring producer/singer/songwriter from Toronto, DirrtyPanda took the second place prize. Congratulations to both winners!
