In the video for Tennessean Lauren Pritchard‘s new single, “Stuck” we see it all. Love, drama, suspense – everything plays out like a little movie, a movie about two love struck fugatives, played by Pritchard and British actor Michael Socha (“Being Human“). The beautifully shot video is set in a rural area somewhere in the English countryside and features the two fresh faced kids on the run from the law. Handcuffed together the couple run through the woods for a while before breaking into a lovely old home. While the video is very literal, given the title of the song, the chemistry of the two stars is measurable and seemingly very real. Two great performances, thanks in no small part I’m sure to Pritchard’s theater background and Socha’s resume.
The Jackson, Tennessee-born singer/actress is currently based in London, where she has been living and promoting her debut album, the Eg White-produced Wasted In Jackson. Signed to Universal/Island Records, her debut album is now available both in stores and on iTunes HERE both here in the States and in the UK. “Stuck,” Pritchard’s latest single is out now in the UK. Check out Pritchard when she tours the U.S. later this month and make sure you watch the super cute video for “Stuck” below.
