I discovered French singer/songwriter/producer Kazy Lambist thanks to Spotify’s NEW MUSIC FRIDAY playlist (which I highly recommend if you’re interested in hearing the latest tunes), with his latest tune, “On You” turning into an instant favorite. The piano-led synth stunner starts out simple and unassuming, with Kazy’s crisp falsetto complementing the song’s otherwise dark, moody, electronic production. Give it a listen below.

The song, which is out now (iTunes / Spotify) has a new, suggestive video (SEE ABOVE) which was filmed with an iPhone 6. Featuring clips of the handsome Frenchman singing, the video is intercut with little snippets of everyday objects doing everyday things, just slowed down and made to look rather naughty. For instance, a piece of mail is slipped into a mailbox slot. The tip of a strawberry is dipped into a dollop of whipped cream. A lollypop (sucker) is…well, sucked. Never before has a cigarette coming out of a pack or a piece of tissue coming out of a box looked so damn sexy. Be sure and check out his other music online too, ‘Doing Yoga‘ for instance – another A+ bit of French synthpop.
