“Go All Night” featuring the MEGA-VOICED Jennifer Hudson was one of the (MANY) clear standouts off Gorgon City‘s debut album, Sirens (out now). While fans have been enjoying plenty infectious album version, the single is out in the UK (iTunes) on Monday, December 15th, complemented by a remix package that features a stunning array of dancefloor primed reinterpretations from Wilkinson, Drew Hill, Aquilo, Illyus & Barrientos, Booka Shade and Freemasons! The song, which Gorgon City and Hudson are currently in the UK promoting ahead of its release next week, is a classic piano house track co-written by another Music Is My King Size Bed-favorite (and 90s house aficionado) Kiesza. “Go All Night” made its radio debut as one of Zane Lowe‘s Hottest Record(s) In The World with other popular BBC Radio DJs like Fearne Cotton, Huw Stephens, and Mistajam following Zane’s lead. Jennifer Hudson + Gorgon City + Kiesza? What more could a dancing queen ask for? Watch the official video for “Go All Night” BELOW and prepare to be taken back to the 90s. Set in a New York club, Hudson appears in the video, interacting with Gorgon City and the fabulous creatures letting loose on the dancefloor.
According to the boys of Gorgon City, “We’re really proud of the track and we love the video. We had an amazing time filming it, it’s the first video we’ve been in – and because it’s a party scene we were up for it!” Hudson kept the love train going, adding “This video is such a throwback to where it all began for me. I was so in my element during production that I kept forgetting we were filming because it took me back to the days when I would dress up and perform at the gay clubs in Chicago. This song has that 90’s feel but the guys of Gorgon City really made it more relevant than ever.”
Sirens is out in the U.S. (iTunes) and UK (Amazon) now. The single is out December 15th. Check out GorgonCity.com for tour dates.
