Giveaway: Win ‘Love You To Death,’ The New Album From Tegan and Sara

AHHHH, another #NewMusicFriday is upon us, and I’m THRILLED to be giving away some copies of the brand new Tegan and Sara album, Love You To Death, which drops today via (Neil Young‘s label) Vapor Records/Warner Bros Records.

Love You To Death—the Canadian duo’s eighth album— was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by pop maestro (and 1/2 of The Bird and The Bee) Greg Kurstin (Kelly Clarkson, Sky Ferreira, Lily Allen). The 10-track collection includes the lead single, “Boyfriend,” as well as previously released gratis tracks—”Stop, Desire,” “100x” and “U-turn.” Check out the video for “Boyfriend” below.

“Boyfriend“—easily one of the band’s most POP releases to date, was released April 8th to much critical acclaim, almost INSTANTLY named a ‘best new track‘ by Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, Vulture and FADER. The song also earned praise from both Billboard (“a stadium shaking hand-clapper”) and NYLON (“just what the electro-pop world needs—a mix of ’80s sheen with the group’s trademark openheartedness”). Last Friday, Tegan and Sara released a remix EP for the single (iTunes / Spotify), with dazzling new interpretations of the song from Shura, Gilligan Moss, Robokid and Alex Ghenea. Give ’em a listen here. “Boyfriend” made it’s live television debut with an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon—even recording a special acoustic version of the track, web-exclusive for Fallon. To celebrate the release, Tegan and Sara have two special fan events planned on the west coast, starting with an exclusive performance at Space15Twenty in Los Angeles tonight, followed by another intimate show tomorrow at San Francisco’s Folsom Street Foundry. The sisters are scheduled make appearances the following week on both Good Morning America (June 6) and The Late Late Show with James Corden (June 8). You can also catch the girls on tour in North America this Fall, kicking off September 9th in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and wrapping up November 16th in Fort Lauderdale.
