With a string of hit in the 70s, including “Everybody Dance,” and “Le Freak,” CHIC is synonymous with the disco genre. Now known as CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers (Rodgers formed the group back in 1976 with bassist Bernard Edwards), the band is looking to bring disco BACK to the forefront of popular music and new single, “I’ll Be There” is the first taste. The band hasn’t put out an album or a single since 1992 but Rodgers has been everywhere in recent years, including a high-profile collab with French electro-geniuses Daft Punk.
Download “I’ll Be There” now (iTunes) and look out for the new album, It’s About Time, out in June.

Sir Ivan (AKA Ivan Wilzig) is probably best known for his euro-dance covers of popular songs from the 60s and 70s, including John Lennon‘s “Imagine,” “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield and “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles. His new single, “Kiss All The Bullies Goodbye” features 80s and 90s pop music staple, Taylor Dayne and delivers a powerful message, preaching acceptance while speaking out against the bullying epidemic. Remixes come to us from Paul Oakenfold, Tony Moran,Tracy Young and much more.
“Kiss All The Bullies” goodbye is out now (iTunes), with proceeds from purchase of the single going to a variety of anti-bullying organizations, including The It Gets Better Project; the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Educational Network (GLSEN); the Born This Way Foundation; Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center; Parents & Friends of Lesbians, Gays (PFLAG); Stomp Out Bullying; Campus Pride; Love Is Louder/The Jed Foundation; The Trevor Project; and the Anti-Defamation League.
