My latest ICYMI (IN CASE YOU MISSED IT) feature is a new track from a talented British singer/songwriter, Becky Hill. The song, “Back To My Love” premiered late last month on Billboard and features a fiery guest verse from budding UK MC Little Simz and top-notch production from Noah Breakfast (Ellie Goulding, Santigold). While I’ve always been impressed by Hill’s vocal ability, she sounds better than ever on this track—powerful and confident over wobbly DnB-lite beats and sparkling synths. Give it a listen below.

Becky Hill has been on my radar since 2014 when I first heard her debut solo offering, the Two Inch Punch (Jessie Ware, Years & Years) produced “Caution To The Wind.” Of course, by that point, Hill was already a semi-fixture in the dance world, having features on tracks by Wilkinson (“Afterglow“), Rudimental (“Powerless“) and Oliver Heldens (“Gecko (Overdrive)“)—not to mention a spot on the UK version of The Voice. Her follow-up solo single, the underrated MNEK-produced “Losing” is a certified pop anthem and a mainstay on my Spotify playlists. Needless to say, I was late to the game but I am now a resident of Camp Hill and her new single, “Back To My Love” just made me extend my lease. Catch her trademark raspy powerhouse vocals on house producer Marc Kinchen‘s latest banger, “Piece Of Me,” and catch her first ever headlining show, November 2nd at Electrowerkz in London (tickets). Wish I could be there! ?
Released April 29th through Hill’s own label, Eko Records “Back To My Love” is available to stream/download now (Spotify / iTunes).
Listen to “Back To My Love” and other JAMZ; part of my Spring Into Summer Spotify playlist.
