In the
Emil Nava–
directed video for
Paloma Faith‘s new single, the flawless ballad “
Just Be,” the talented twenty-something literally bares it all. Released this morning, the all black & white video features a vulnerable, stripped down
Paloma Faith, sitting in the middle of a wood floor in a vacant loft space somewhere in New York City. Completely naked, hugging her body tightly Faith lays it all out there; singing about true and everlasting love in this love song for
REAL lovers. Interspersed throughout the video are clips of the starlet walking around New York City with a
GORGEOUS male model on her arm, as well as some more intimate moments. All in all, an absolutely stunning clip for an absolutely stunning song. “
Just Be,” penned by Faith alongside
Greg Wells and
Matt Hales with production by
Nelle Hooper and
Jake Gosling, is due out
December 16th as the fourth single from Faith’s sophomore album,
Fall To Grace, following the release of her
GORGEOUS INXS cover of “
Never Tear Us Apart,” featured on the album’s October re-release.
Before Paloma can focus on promo for her new single she’ll have to come back to America to promote her first U.S. album release when Fall To Grace is released via Epic Records on December 4th. Already certified Double Platinum in the UK, Faith is relatively unknown here in America. While Faith has done some radio promo around the country on the back of her recent sold out U.S. club tour, she has yet to make any television appearances Hopefully that will change this month because we ALL know how important TV promo is, especially for an unknown artist. Leading up to the album’s release next month, Paloma will launch a national U.S. tour in November, bringing her trademark theatricality and soulful pop stylings to a larger (hopefully) audience. Most recently she performed at “Live In The Vineyard,” a private music festival set in California’s scenic Napa Valley.
In some other promising news, influential music video platform,
VEVO has selected Paloma as their latest
LIFT artist to watch. On
October 22nd, Faith began her eight week reign on the
VEVO LIFT homepage.

STUNNING video for “
Just Be”
BELOW and get excited for it’s release in the UK on
December 16th. While the single artwork and track listing have yet to be unveiled, we can expect
AT LEAST one remix by London-based drum & bass DJ/producer
Shy FX (AKA
Andre Williams). In one of her recently uploaded U.S. tour videos, Faith
updated fans from a recording studio in Washington D.C., where she was recording new vocals for the remix. Faith’s UK record label has been good about releasing some pretty
KILLER remixes so I’m guessing “
Just Be” will be no exception.
U.S. fans can pre-order the album,
Fall To Grace ABOVE and download the single “
Picking Up The Pieces” right now (
iTunes US). Also worth a listen, the fantastic “
